RE: EOWG: Agenda updated, documents ready for review

Here are some  comments on Better Web Browsing;

This sentence in the section Difficulty Seeing and Reading Websites? Is unclear.

Before changing the settings on your computer, make sure the screen and screen settings are optimal for you.

Many people would not distinguish between the hardware and software and hence would find that sentence confusing.

For this sentence:

Tools: There are screen magnifiers, some of which are built directly into your computer operating system.

Will the reference to 'operating system' cause the target audience any problems? I guess the broader question is to identify what terms and concepts are OK to use and which we should avoid, e.g., computer operating system, applications, Ergonomic, etc. Perhaps the glossary at the end will do the job.

General comment - some sentences are longer than they need to be. For example:

For people who are more comfortable using the mouse or other types of pointing devices than using the keyboard, most computer operating systems provide on-screen keyboards that can be used with a mouse rather than typing in the information through the keyboard.

This sentence could be broken into a couple of shorter sentences.

Hi EOWG,

This week's agenda is updated at http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/#agenda and links to some material that is now ready for your review.

The document currently titled "Better Web Browsing" at <http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/Drafts/adaptive/strategies.html> has been updated as follows:
- visual formatting and reading order of "Contents" and "Introduction"
- changed title to "Better Web Browsing"
- added disclaimer, "back to top", and other minor tweaks
- linked to PWD-Use-Web from "Introduction"

Other material will be available before the meeting.

Regards,
~Shawn
