Re: WAI-ARIA FAQ new question: "What should developers do now?"

I'm with Alan. I think it's important to answer this question "Q: What should Web site developers do with WAI-ARIA now?"

I think we should give links to how people can subscribe to WAI IG and how they can subscribe to the RSS feed so that they know when there will be an update.

I think that this is very important. I think that the main audiences
for the document will be content developers and policy makers and
these people need to know what to do now.

I have been asked this question recently and have tried to reply as
best I can without being able to cite anything from W3C. It would be
important to make it clear when the answer was written and that it be
updated regularly as the technology progresses. It would be useful if
not very practical to be able to say "What are other people (the big
players) doing now?"

Some techniques for using ARIA technologies are already available in the ARIA Techniques section of Techniques for WCAG 2.0.

E.g., if the FAQ will be done in Dec do we want to release it? with or without announcements? Do we want to include an update on WAI-ARIA, e.g., along the lines of [1] and [2]? Do we want the FAQ and the Overview to continue to outline the previous/current documents, or foreshadow the plan for the next release (e.g., the Primer(s) and the combined spec)? If you have any thoughts, let me know. Otherwise, I'll let you know when mine solidify. :)
