First off... I think overall this draft is the best that I've seen. I'm excited to have the last call out the door. In the conformance section... http://www.w3.org/WAI/GL/WCAG20/#conformance I like that they're using handles for the conformance requirements... my only suggestion is that they make the handles into actions. This would improve skimming. For example I'd use the following... 1.) Attain a conformance level 2.) Full pages should conform 3.) Complete processes should conform 4.) Only use accessibility-supported technologies 5.) Do not interfere with user access Another comment is... under accessibility supported technologies, a developer is NOT going to take the time to learn the requirements of accessibility supported technologies. I really want a list... this one supports accessibility and this one doesn't. Is it safe to say that HTML and CSS are accessibility supporting technologies? This is just my 2 cents... - justin ****************** Justin Thorp US Library of Congress Web Services - Office of Strategic Initiatives e - juth@loc.gov p - 202/707-9541 >>> Shawn Henry <shawn@w3.org> 11/13/2007 5:31 PM >>> EOWG Participants, Background: EOWG submitted comments on the May 2007 WCAG 2.0 Working Draft.
