Dear EOWG Participants: An agenda and calling logistics for our 12 January 2007 teleconference follow. Time: 8:30am - 10:30am U.S. Eastern Time. For other time zones see: http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html Bridge: +1.617.761.6200, code: EOWG# (3694#) IRC: Channel: #eo, server: irc.w3.org, port: 6665 Scribe: See http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/2003/scribes.html Agenda: 1. Face-to-face (f2f) meeting 22-23 Jan in Boston/Cambridge * Draft agenda: - http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/2007/01f2f under "Preliminary Agenda" * Logistics notes * Please complete the "Food and Meals for EOWG F2F Jan 2007 Boston" questionnaire/survey right away, if you are attending the meetings: - http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35532/200701f2fmeals/ 2. ATAG 2.0 Working Draft comments * Check if any changes to comments from last week: - http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-eo/2007JanMar/0012.html * Review comments sent in e-mail, from the end of December and beginning of January. So far the comments are from Justin and Liam: - http://lists.w3.org/Archives/Public/w3c-wai-eo/ * Any additional comments: - ATAG Working Draft: http://www.w3.org/TR/ATAG20/ Please send any additional comments to the list before the meeting as possible. Focus for EOWG review and discussion: [Note that we've already been through the first several, and so will mainly be focusing on #4 and #5 tomorrow] 1. Is the relationship between ATAG 2.0 and WCAG 1.0 and WCAG 2.0 clear? 2. Is it clear that accessible (ATAG-compliant) authoring tools have a crucial role in making the Web accessible? 3. How well does the ATAG Overview introduce ATAG? (we may just quickly capture some ideas for Shawn to follow up on for the Overview, rather than "consensing" on specific change requests) 4. Is the ATAG 2.0 Working Draft understandable? Look especially at the Abstract, Introduction, and Conformance sections. 5. Are the guidelines and success criteria clear? 3. Schedule notes * No teleconference next week, 19 January, allowing time to read documents and prepare comments for the F2F * End of meeting reminder: If you haven't done so already, now might be a good time to complete the "Food and Meals for EOWG F2F Jan 2007 Boston" questionnaire/survey at: - http://www.w3.org/2002/09/wbs/35532/200701f2fmeals/ Regards, ~ Shawn & Judy === IRC reminders and tips: - IRC is supplemental to the call.
