Helle, Multiple selections from drop down lists are only possible for mouse users (to my best knowledge you can not make multiple selections with a keyboard), so if the intention is to allow multiple selections, then we have to stick with check boxes. I still vote for simplicity (simple-slh) for the simple search screen. In the 2 implementation pages there are more languages in the checkbox version than in the drop-down version. I can't see why one should not be able to select more than one language, even in simple search, I for instance would like to be able to select both Danish and English, without going to the advanced search. Especially if the entries for language etc get even longer (which we anticipate). Suggestions and comments on how each one of these works or does not work for you is welcome.
