A quick initial comment. The organisation of Part 4 is much better (needs some spacing inserted for readability), but highlights some issues with definitions. In particular: Checkpoint Coverage - Manual currently says: "Many accessibility checks require human judgement and must be evaluated manually; some tools assist the users in making the correct evaluation judgements through different approaches, for example by providing additional educational resources." This is not currently about the coverage of the tool, but about other features you might look for. This entry need to talk about the fact that some manual tools are very focussed and address a single checkpoint, e.g. link checkers or colour analysers, while some are very broad and assist the evaluation of multiple checkpoints, e.g. the WAVE and the AIS Web Accessibility Toolbar Andrew -----Original Message----- From: w3c-wai-eo-request@w3.org [mailto:w3c-wai-eo-request@w3.org]On Behalf Of Shadi Abou-Zahra Sent: Friday, 11 March 2005 8:08 AM To: 'EOWG' Subject: [new documents available] EOWG: Agenda for 11 March 2005 Teleconference Hi, Document: <http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/Drafts/eval/selectingtools.html> Changelog: <http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/Drafts/eval/selectingtools-changelog.html> Based on the discussions from the F2F last week, a new revision for the document "Selecting Web Accessibility Evaluation Tools" is available.
