site redesign beta status

EOWG,

We are working on the final beta test version of the redesigned WAI Web site.[1] You can watch the progress from:
    www.w3.org/WAI/ut3/

We are still working on some final issues, such as the best way to set font sizes in CSS, and providing the hierarchical navigation for screen readers users. While we are in the construction process, there is no need to comment on things like broken links. However, if you have more serious concerns, please do let us know right away.

Send comments that you want visible only to W3C Team (WAI staff and all others) to:
     team-site-design@w3.org
If you have comments that you want publicly archived, send them to:
     wai-site-comments@w3.org
You may also send comments
    - directly to me: shawn@w3.org
    - to the WAI Site Redesign Task Force: public-wai-eo-site@w3.org

We are focusing on getting the first release of the redesigned site out as soon as possible. As such, we will not take time away from the release preparations to respond to all comments. Even though we may not respond, please be assured that we will take all comments into consideration for the initial release or subsequent updates.

Please do _not_ forward this message to a wider group yet.

Best regards,

~ Shawn
