Here is more background on the Evaluation Resource Suite discussion for today.
Additional information besides what was in the agenda already:
** first draft of possible new page to add to the evaluation resource
suite, for a "first reaction" at our teleconference:
http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/Drafts/eval/selectingtools.html
** changelog from old discussions (was mixed in with changelog for
implementation planning suite):
http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/Drafts/impl/changelog.html
Some questions to consider:
1. split out conformance testing and comprehensive testing in the overview
page, and explain difference?
2. review what's in the template and find out if it's still the best format
that we can recommend?
3. add a page of suggestions on how to include people with disabilities in
a comprehensive evaluation process?
4. make the "selecting evaluation tools" page part of the suite?
5. move the "considerations for specific contexts" section to another page,
or rename or reorganize it?
6. review and update the "review teams" page?
Reminder of what was in the agenda already:
Revision of Evaluation Resource Suite
- one of our priorities this quarter is to update and revise the
evaluation resource suite
- this is not the full revision that will be needed once WCAG 2.0 is
available
- but rather a clean-up and tweaking based on known problems and
lessons learned on the existing suite
- please review and consider what priorities are for current clean-up
- discussion will be on priorities for current revision
