I have problem with using absolute language such as "all" and "should", etc. "All" is hard to back up in some cases. "Should" comes across as directive or pushy. It is just my gut feeling that using these two words would evoke a negative reaction in some readers and therefore should be avoided unless there is some very overwhelming reason to use them. Alternative words to use: all > most, a majority, the large part should > could, is recommended/suggested Charmane >Envelope-to: corcora1@pilot.msu.edu >X-Original-To: w3c-wai-eo@listhub.w3.org >Delivered-To: w3c-wai-eo@listhub.w3.org >Delivered-To: w3c-wai-eo@w3.org >From: "LIPKINA,NATASHA (HP-PaloAlto,ex1)" <natasha.lipkina@hp.com> >To: 'Shawn Lawton Henry' <shawn@w3.org>, > "'EOWG (E-mail)'" <w3c-wai-eo@w3.org> >Cc: "LIPKINA,NATASHA (HP-PaloAlto,ex1)" <natasha.lipkina@hp.com> >Date: Thu, 29 Jan 2004 16:38:36 -0500 >Subject: RE: bcase-social factors for 23 January 2004 teleconference >X-Archived-At: >http://www.w3.org/mid/92D1B98A6B79C348BDA9D5CC23650B1901E9821C@xsun06.ptp.hp.com >Resent-From: w3c-wai-eo@w3.org >X-Mailing-List: <w3c-wai-eo@w3.org> archive/latest/3603 >X-Loop: w3c-wai-eo@w3.org >Sender: w3c-wai-eo-request@w3.org >Resent-Sender: w3c-wai-eo-request@w3.org >List-Id: <w3c-wai-eo.w3.org> >List-Help: <http://www.w3.org/Mail/> >List-Unsubscribe: <mailto:w3c-wai-eo-request@w3.org?subject=unsubscribe> >Resent-Date: Thu, 29 Jan 2004 16:39:19 -0500 (EST) >X-Virus: None found by Clam AV > > > >Shawn, I just took off the red text that I believe can be omitted in this >case.
