Review of draft SMIL accessibility features - Initial draft of SMIL accessibility feature description at <http://www.w3.org/WAI/EO/SMIL-access> - please review and comment (note still in process of getting technical review) - anyone interested in doing MathML access feature description? 3. Discussion of accessibility issues in distance learning - issues at levels of classroom-related Web resources; distance learning; school libraries; school systems, other? - issues at level of interactive systems, group work, multimedia, other? - does WAI need a "Note" on this, or guidelines? 4. User information & involvement resources - Sheela & Peter taking on some development in this area - quick brainstorm on gathering information on related projects - review of /WAI/References area: <http://www.w3.org/WAI/References/> - how best to present some of these materials? references, resources? user-friendly area, tech-friendly area? 5. Policy description (Darry-over from last week's agenda) - unable still timewise to update the EO Policy page but have a look at the discussion of relevant US policy issues at http://swissnet.ai.mit.edu/6805/fall98-topics/topic7-access.html - consider using something not so open-ended but still an exploration of the issues. Add pointers to US EITAAC info as it progresses. - update US Section 508 changes & EITAAC process 6.
