This is a report of the AUWG's progress at our recent F2F. Judy, Michael: I'm cc'ing you due to the important document coordination steps taken at the meeting, most important of which is moving ATAG 2.0 to the same multi-priority level structure as WCAG. Agenda: http://www.w3.org/WAI/AU/2007/apr2007_meeting.html#agn --- Day 1: 25 April 2007 Participants: Jutta Treviranus (Chair of group), Jan Richards (Acting Staff Contact), Greg Pisocky, Tim Boland, Barry Feigenbaum (by phone) - Agreed to reformat Guidelines as WCAG has done, with 3 levels of success criteria per guideline (ATAG used to use the term checkpoint) - Agreed on proposal to allow Benchmarks other than WCAG 1.0 and 2.0 - Agreed to rename benchmark to "Web Content Accessibility Benchmark" from "Content Type Specific WCAG Benchmark". - Agreed to reworking of "PRINCIPLE A.1: Authoring tool must facilitate access by assistive technologies" to include "Guideline A.1.1 For the authoring tool user interface, ensure that Web-based functionality is accessible." - Reviewed and updated all guidelines for "PRINCIPLE A.2: Authoring Tool User Interface must be Perceivable", "PRINCIPLE A.3: Authoring Tool User Interface must be Operable" and "PRINCIPLE A.4: Authoring Tool User Interface must be Understandable" - Decided "Guideline A.3.3 For the authoring tool user interface, permit author control of time limits." should be rewritten to reflect WCAG changes.
