JR's action items: 1. Add new success criteria (and techniques) to A.2.1 (new SC is: The current keyboard settings must be available to the author at all times (e.g. in either a central location such as a list, or a distributed location such as associating shortcuts with menu items)) Here are the techniques: Technique A.2.1-6.1 [Sufficient]: Providing a documentation page that lists all of the keystrokes. Technique A.2.1-6.2 [Sufficient]: Providing the keystrokes throughout the authorin tool user interface according to the platform conventions (e.g. listing associated shortcut keys with menu items). 2. Re-word proposal for Technique A.1.4-1.1 ORIGINAL: Providing the author with the ability to change the fonts, colors, sizing (zoom), etc. within rendered editing views (or by changing the platform display settings), independently of the ability to control the markup that is actually produced. PREVIOUS PROPOSAL: Separating the author's display settings for fonts, colors, sizing (zoom), etc. from content presentation settings so that the content presentation settings, but not the author's display settings are used within the markup that is actually produced. JR's REWORDING: Ensuring that a configuration is available in which the author can change the display settings of their editing view (e.g. fonts, colors, sizing (zoom), etc.) independently of the presentational markup and styles of the content being edited, and vice versa. 3. JR to reword A.2 SC3 ORIGINAL: The author must have the option to enable single-key access to both of the following functionalities: (a) move content focus to the next enabled control in the editing interface (e.g., using "tab" key), and (b) navigate forward and backward within editing views (e.g., using "arrow" keys). PROPOSED (CHANGE IN BOLD): The author must have the option to enable single-key access to both of the following functionalities: (a) move content focus to the next enabled control in the editing interface (e.g., "tab" NAVIGATION OF DIALOGS), and (b) navigate forward and backward within editing views (e.g., using "arrow" keys).
