Please see my discussion of prescriptive versus descriptive role of rdfs:range in my recent summary of the X proposal. Also, forgive me, but has no'one else read section 3 of the RDF *Schema* spec? We're talking about rdfs:range here, not rdf:range, right? ^ Patrick > -----Original Message----- > From: ext Brian McBride [mailto:bwm@hplb.hpl.hp.com] > Sent: 09 November, 2001 11:33 > To: Pat Hayes > Cc: Stickler Patrick (NRC/Tampere); w3c-rdfcore-wg@w3.org > Subject: Re: incomplete datatyping (was: Re: datatypes and MT) > > > > > Pat Hayes wrote: > > [...] > > > > > > Am I the only person who has no idea what this > > normative/descriptive/prescriptive contrast means? > > > No. > > Which is why I have asked Patrick for concrete examples, > based on the various > proposals, to illucidate. > > Brian >
