inventor Tim Berners-Lee will deliver a keynote, "Escaping the Walled
Garden: Growing the Mobile Web with Open Standards" at Mobile
Internet World, 13-15 November at the Hynes Convention Center in
Boston, MA, USA. W3C's Mobile Web Initiative (MWI) is holding a pre-
conference Developer's Summit on Mobile Web Standards. Summit
attendees can learn even more about the W3C "One Web" vision, with
updates on the latest mobile Web developments from MWI staff and
sponsors, including Google, MobileAware, mTLD, Nokia, Opera Software,
France Telecom Group, and Vodafone.
Leaders and mobile Web experts from the W3C community will be on hand
throughout the conference to share news about innovations regarding
best practices, mobile Ajax, device description, mobileOK, and other
trends that recognize that the mobile ecosystem thrives when an
integral part of "One Web."
W3C will also host a special media and analyst luncheon on Wednesday,
14 November from 12-1:30pm at Mobile Internet World. Speakers include
Tim Berners-Lee and representatives from W3C's MWI. Seating is
