New release 0.14 of NeuClear XMLSig library offers higher speed verification

We are happy to announce the latest release 0.14 of the NeuClear XML Signature
library http://dev.neuclear.org/xmlsig/ to the general public.

The NeuClear XML Signature library is written in Java and was written not for
completeness but rather to provide a secure fast implementation of the most
common features used in ecommerce, Identity and web services applications.

This latest version brings much increased speed in XML parsing, which is
particularly good news for web services. It also brings full compatibility
with the latest JDK5 from Sun. We use Dom4J 1.5 and the latest XPP3 MXP1 for
xml parsing/processing.

This is most likely the last release before version 1.0. We hope to add a new
high speed low memory verifier for web services usage as well as built in
support for the SAML authentication standard. If your organization is
interested in sponsoring any of these developments please contact me.

NeuClear XMLSig is released as open source software under the business
friendly LGPL license.

BTW. I am currently looking for consulting/employment oportunities working
with XML Signatures. If you or your company are interested or you know anyone
that might be please let me know.

Regards
Pelle Braendgaard
