Silly me, obviously the place to look for this is in Pythons httplib 
module. . . Check the docs on python.org for information on how to set 
arbitrary headers. Specifically, see 
<http://docs.python.org/lib/httpconnection-objects.html>, where 
putheader() is briefly discussed.
