DASL stands for Distributed Authoring Searching and Locating, and is a
follow-on working group to WebDAV for searching web sites whose objects fit
into the WebDAV object model.

DASL has been approved for a BOF at the LA IETF from 7:30pm -> 10:00pm on
Wednesday April 1st. Our proposed agenda is:
20 min review the charter (esp. milestones)
15 min Go over related work; role of DASL to DAV and other efforts
35 min Review Requirements; understand basic issues that must be
addressed
20 min Go over specific DAV Scenarios that must be addressed; which
queries must be possible in a minimum DASL implementation
60 min Go over DASL Protocol
- 20 Basic transport mechanism, request/response formats
- 10 Discovery
- 30 Query Grammar: defining the minimum useful subset; extensibility
features
