This specification defines a new DOM event type that provides information about the battery status of the hosting device. Using this API should result in more appropriate utilization of the CPU by the browser. * an update to the Candidate Recommendation for Navigation Timing, which defines an interface for web applications to access timing information related to navigation and elements. CSS3 Writing Modes defines CSS features to support for various international writing modes, such as left-to-right (e.g. Latin or Indic), right-to-left (e.g., Hebrew or Arabic), bidirectional (e.g., mixed Latin and Arabic) and vertical (e.g., Asian scripts). The DOM is a language- and platform neutral interface that allows programs and scripts to dynamically access and update the content and structure of documents. Document Object Model Events Level 3 defines a generic platform- and language-neutral event system which allows registration of event handlers, describes event flow through a tree structure, and provides basic contextual information for each event.
