Just a quick note to say that Atalla supports the effort to combine
the best of SSL & PCT into a single transport layer (secure) protocol.

The Microsoft "Discussion Draft 1.0, Apr 8, 1996" reflects many of the 
desirable changes/improvements.  Atalla will send our specific 
recommendations in follow-on postings to this mail list.
