All, We updated our procedures to obtain Director's approval when advancing on the Recommendation track. Instead of sending emails, transition requests are now expected to be raised using an issue at: https://github.com/w3c/transitions/issues This is the repository for managing the Director approval workflow when advancing on the W3C Recommendation track. Notifications are sent by email to various mailing lists, including public-transition-announce@w3.org. For more details, see also https://github.com/w3c/transitions/blob/master/README.md The transition requirements were updated as needed: https://www.w3.org/Guide/transitions We do expect to continue to provide additional systems to facilitate sending transitions in the future. Some of you may have noticed that we're making updates in repositories to move towards a better horizontal review tracking system as well. Thank you, Philippe
