Grr. I find it much more effective when doing careful reviews of a 
document to do so on paper - or I would if I could read it.  Could 
someone please change the respec code so that when it generates error 
messages such as

     Got 6 tokens looking like a reference, not in biblio DB:
     Bad ref: UAX35, count = 1
     Bad ref: UAX15, count = 4
     Bad ref: UNICODE32, count = 1

it doesn't cover up large amounts of text on every page in the document 
when printed.
