Strange Discovery Linked to W3C and World Wide Web Origins

Hello,

I recently encountered something extremely unusual that appears to be
connected to the origins of the World Wide Web. A physical playing card was
discovered with "@the.was.project" written on it, which led me down a
strange trail involving info.cern.ch, W3C, and a seemingly activated
account under the name “Betty-Hoo Apache-MacTarrifsonova the 3rd, Esq. MD.”

It seems to reference both early internet history and a possibly
interactive or artistic experience, but I'm not entirely sure what I’ve
stumbled onto.

Is there someone at W3C I can speak with regarding this? It may be of
historical, technical, or even archival interest.

Thanks,
Betty
