Hello, I visited your website and registered on it in order to comment about the fact that your accessibility checkers don’t seem to work very well on checking for compatibility with speech recognition software. I was quite shocked to discover that even your own website as areas where this kind of compatibility could be improved! On the page where I could edit my profile (https://www.w3.org/users/142624/edit) there is a drop-down list of countries. Because I live in the UK, I had to say ‘Page down’ lots and lots of times to get to it, whereas someone using a mouse could scroll there quickly. It would be much better if there was a search box at the top of the list. I haven’t managed to find anywhere where I can comment about accessibility checkers not checking very well for speech recognition compatibility. Where can I do that please? Best wishes, Rebecca Parris. Rebecca Parris (she/her) PhD Student, Lancaster Medical School Office B011, Furness College Lancaster University.
