Duplicated group?

am afraid this proposed group duplicate the existing one
https://www.w3.org/community/schemed/.

Can the 2 supporters of this join this one and make synergy there? I do not
know the W3C policy for duplicated communities--It would help to have a
cleaned way for that, so my comment here might be irrelevant.
