While trying to check out various test suites from the public CVS 
server, we are seeing:

cvs checkout: [14:20:00] waiting for cvsd's lock in 
/sources/public/2001/XML-Test-Suite/xmlconf/ibm/valid/P12/out
cvs checkout: [14:31:51] waiting for cvsd's lock in 
/sources/public/2001/XInclude-Test-Suite/EdUni
cvs checkout: [14:36:53] waiting for cvsd's lock in 
/sources/public/2006/xquery-test-suite/TestSuiteStagingArea/Queries/XQuery/Functions/SeqFunc/GeneralSeqFunc/SeqDistinctValuesFunc
cvs checkout: [14:47:06] waiting for cvsd's lock in 
/sources/public/2007/xpath-full-text-10-test-suite/TestSuiteStagingArea/Queries/XQueryX/Expressions/Operators/CompExpr/FTContainsExpr/FTSelection/FTOperators/FTUnaryNot

and the check out is apparently failing.

I'd be grateful if this could be resolved.
