Looks like some involved spamming to me. For the record, I'm and invited expert on the XML Schema WG, and an editor of the 1.1 version of that spec. If you choose to try to trace through the header in the forwarded message, normally mail is directed to me at <davep@iit.edu> and iit.edu bounces it to <sgmlworks@verizon.net>. I have no idea who jo-auto.com is. I got another msg much the same nominally from you with similar content. And just got one nominally from youtube (with whom I do not have an account). Hope you can shut them down. It appears to be a bit cleverer than most spam. I wonder if some of the headers are fake. Good luck. >Return-path: <promotion@jo-auto.com> >Received: from spamblock-2.iit.edu ([unknown] [216.47.143.128]) > by vms169121.mailsrvcs.net > (Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 7u2-7.02 32bit (built Apr 16 2009)) > with ESMTP id <0L4A00IA198MBIFC@vms169121.mailsrvcs.net> for > sgmlworks@verizon.net; Sat, 19 Jun 2010 17:31:34 -0500 (CDT) >Received: from atlas-v-iv.iit.edu (localhost [127.0.0.1]) > by spamblock-2.iit.edu (Spam & Virus Firewall) with ESMTP id >104133521817 for > <sgmlworks@verizon.net>; Sat, 19 Jun 2010 17:31:34 -0500 (CDT) >Received: from atlas-v-iv.iit.edu (atlas-p.iit.edu [216.47.143.155]) > by spamblock-2.iit.edu with ESMTP id M1vmrje2vuUT6lJW for > <sgmlworks@verizon.net>; Sat, 19 Jun 2010 17:31:34 -0500 (CDT) >Received: from spamblock-2.iit.edu (spamblock-2.iit.edu [216.47.143.128]) > by atlas-v.iit.edu > (Sun Java(tm) System Messaging Server 6.3-4.01 (built Aug 3 2007; 32bit)) > with ESMTP id <0L4A00DRS9GB4QG0@atlas-v.iit.edu> for sgmlworks@verizon.net > (ORCPT davep@iit.edu); Sat, 19 Jun 2010 17:36:11 -0500 (CDT) >Received: from mail.jo-auto.com (localhost [127.0.0.1]) > by spamblock-2.iit.edu (Spam & Virus Firewall) with ESMTP id >53D003521814 for > <davep@iit.edu>; Sat, 19 Jun 2010 17:31:33 -0500 (CDT) >Received: from mail.jo-auto.com (www.jo-auto.com [207.218.234.106]) > by spamblock-2.iit.edu with ESMTP id da8jPAtgtXWB8xVU for <davep@iit.edu>; > Sat, 19 Jun 2010 17:31:33 -0500 (CDT) >Received: from frink.w3.org ([128.30.52.56]) by jo-auto.com with MailEnable > ESMTP; Sat, 19 Jun 2010 17:23:07 -0500 >Received: from lists by frink.w3.org with local (Exim 4.69) > (envelope-from <list-help@listhub.w3.org>) > id 1OQ6RP-0007KK-9O for jordaninan-Emails@jo-auto.com; Sat, > 19 Jun 2010 22:23:07 +0000 >Date: Sat, 19 Jun 2010 22:23:07 +0000 >From: w3c-xml-protocol-wg-request@w3.org >Subject: Re: Message received >In-reply-to: <201006192220.o5JMKt35008800@mgateway5.nlm.nih.gov> >X-Originating-IP: [216.47.143.128] >Sender: promotion@jo-auto.com >To: jordaninan-Emails@jo-auto.com >Reply-to: jordaninan-Emails@jo-auto.com >Message-id: <E1OQ6RP-0007KK-9O@frink.w3.org> >MIME-version: 1.0 >Content-type: TEXT/PLAIN >Content-transfer-encoding: 7BIT >Precedence: list >X-Loop: w3c-xml-protocol-wg@w3.org >X-ASG-Debug-ID: 1276986694-5e8201ab0000-Vs6pz8 >X-Barracuda-URL: http://216.47.143.128:8000/cgi-bin/mark.cgi >X-Barracuda-Envelope-From: promotion@jo-auto.com >X-ASG-Orig-Subj: Re: Message received >X-Barracuda-Connect: atlas-p.iit.edu[216.47.143.155] >X-Barracuda-Start-Time: 1276986694 >X-Barracuda-Virus-Scanned: by Barracuda Spam & Virus Firewall at iit.edu >References: <201006192220.o5JMKt35008800@mgateway5.nlm.nih.gov> >Original-recipient: rfc822;sgmlworks@verizon.net > >*** NOTE: *** > > Your message was sent from an address which is not on the list > of people who are authorized to post to this mailing list. > Therefore, your message has been forwarded to the list maintainer > for manual processing. > > If you do not see your message appear on the list or in the > mailing list archives within a few business days, you may wish > to contact the mailing list maintainer to investigate the delay. > > -- W3C Postmaster > http://www.w3.org/Mail/ > >your message follows: >---------------------------------------------------------------------------- > >This is a multi-part message in MIME format. > >----=_XXSEBL06192010_182055_635GMGXX >Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit >Content-Type: text/plain; > charset="windows-1256" > >Your message was received by the Reference and Web Services Section >at the National Library of Medicine.
