About the link to expand text in news

Helllo Ian,
My colleague had another look at the point you raise concerning the
expandable text for each news.
He thinks that this is a loss of information following WCAG 2.0 F3:
"Failure of Success Criterion 1.1.1 due to using CSS to include images
that convey important information"
<http://www.w3.org/TR/2008/NOTE-WCAG20-TECHS-20081211/F3>
It appears that the information is displayed visually in an image
located in the CSS. When the news text is hidden, the image shows an
arrow to the right, and when the text is expanded the image shows an
arrow down.
The solution could be to remove the image from the CSS, to integrate it
in the H3 and to associate an alt attribute such as: "expand text" for
the arrow to the right, and "hide text" for the arrow down.
Would this be feasable?
Best regards
Sylvie
