screenshot: ouch!

to whom it may concern,
imagine my surprise when i arrived at http://www.w3.org/Status and saw an 
extremely & unreadably painful font used for the body copy and headers. 
please see the attached screenshot. yikes!...how'd this happen? of all the 
fonts in the world...this one is surely one of the worst possible options.
