Subscription Problems

Hello everyone,

some notes about the public mailing lists.

I took all the data from http://lists.w3.org/.

The following addresses (marked with subscribe/unsubscribe links) do
not reply when subscribing:
www-wca-request@w3.org
www-vlib-announce-request@w3.org
www-tv-request@w3.org
www-test-request@w3.org
www-speech-request@w3.org
www-servers-request@w3.org
www-rdb-request@w3.org
www-push-request@w3.org
www-proxy-request@w3.org
www-next-request@w3.org
www-multimedia-request@w3.org
www-multicast-request@w3.org
www-logging-request@w3.org
www-history-request@w3.org
www-demographics-request@w3.org
www-announce-request@w3.org
www-amaya-developers-request@w3.org
w3c-wai-wg-request@w3.org
w3c-wai-ui-request@w3.org
w3c-wai-gl-request@w3.org
pics-info-request@w3.org
ietf-tls-request@w3.org
ietf-swap-request@w3.org

The following addresses (marked with subscribe/unsubscribe links)
return "550 unknown user":
www-xkms-ws-request@w3.org
www-lib-survey-request@w3.org
w3c-math-erb-request@w3.org
pso-discuss-request@w3.org
ietf-http-wg-old-request@w3.org

For the following lists no subscribe/unsubscribe links are provided
but when I tried the -request addresses, I got subscribed:
www-voice@w3.org
www-html-editor@w3.org
w3c-dist-auth@w3.org
public-ws-media-types@w3.org
public-webapps-cdf-discuss@w3.org
public-rdf-dawg-comments@w3.org
public-esw-desc@w3.org
public-esw-news@w3.org
public-cwm-talk@w3.org
public-cwm-bugs@w3.org
public-cwm-announce@w3.org
Perhaps there are others (e.g., the www-dom-request address doesn't
respond at all).

For the following lists no subscribe/unsubscribe links are provided
and unlike the other such lists they don't remain silent when the
-request address is mailed, they return "550 unknown user":
www-p3p-public-comments-request@w3.org
www-lib-bugs-request@w3.org
wai-report-bounces-request@w3.org (the weirdest name and archive)
ietf-discuss-request@w3.org
ietf-charsets-request@w3.org

If anyone is going to fix those please send me a list of the addresses
that will be available for subscription.

Thanks,
Alexander.

P.S. Is there a way to learn when there's a new list available?
Perhaps something like list-announce@w3.org could be set up.
