w3org Home page and Tables

Dear Sir/Madam

W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines seem to discourage the use of
tables for layout purposes, yet your front page uses tables.

To be compliant, and to use tables for layout, is it sufficient to simply
use the table "summary" attribute?

Your sincerely.

Stephen Davey
