Los Angeles, 1/1/2001

Carvalu.com competitors who

in various forms now use the proprietary,

patent pending valuing method of

Carvalu.com without our

permission and in clear violation of the

appertaining Visitor Agreement, and

intellectual property and other laws,

The Kelley Blue Book ("VIRTUAL WALKAROUND," etc );

Edmund's ("TRUE MARKET VALUE," etc.);

AutoSite ("SORT BY ATTRIBUTES," etc.);

CarPoint ("RATE YOUR CAR," and "WHAT IS YOUR CAR WORTH," etc.);

PersonaLogic ("ELECTIONGUIDE 2000," etc.);

Fleet Lease Disposal, Inc. ("VERETECH," etc.); and

The Cobalt Group ("PRICELINK," etc).

Anyone using any of these services for commercial purposes might become a

co-defendant in a lawsuit, among other counts, for theft of

intellectual property.
