Please share [Apologies for multiple postings] ===================================================== *TOTh 2026 Training Session* *"Bringing Artificial Intelligence to Terminology: A Step-by-Step Project Approach"* 2 & 3 June 2026 - On-site & Online University Savoie Mont-Blanc (Chambéry, France). https://toth.condillac.org/training-2026-ai ===================================================== *Presentation: *The two-day training “Terminology and Artificial Intelligence” introduces participants to Artificial Intelligence in the construction of terminologies compliant with international standards such as ISO 1087 and ISO 704. The training illustrates how Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI, including Large Language Models (LLMs), can assist in corpus processing, such as term candidate extraction, and how symbolic AI, such as ontologies, supports the representation of the conceptual systems of terminologies. To make these approaches concrete, the training will follow a complete example project that demonstrates each step of the workflow — from corpus preparation to the production of a structured digital terminology. Participants will learn how to integrate and use key tools such as NLP applications, Generative AI, Protégé, and Tedi. A significant part of the session will be devoted to hands-on exercises, allowing participants to experiment directly with the tools and techniques presented. The training will also introduce ISO and W3C standards for publishing terminologies as knowledge graphs, ensuring semantic interoperability and alignment with the Semantic Web. *Objectives of the training: *By the end of the two days, participants will have the knowledge and practical skills to reproduce this AI-assisted terminological workflow and apply it to their own projects. *Target audience: *Anyone, professional, academic or otherwise, interested in the latest advances in terminology work. *Learning outcomes: *Theoretical foundations of terminology and concept theory, basic knowledge of relevant ISO and W3C standards, an understanding of how to use AI, NLP, and Generative AI, Ontology, and knowledge graph for terminology work. *Registration:* The number of participants is limited. Early registration is recommended *Training Fees: *Student: 50 €, Academic: 100 €, Other/Industrial : 150 € _Participants are asked to bring their laptops_ Prof Christophe Roche University of Crete (Greece) - ERA Chair Holder University Savoie Mont Blanc (France) - Emeritus https://talos-ai4ssh.uoc.gr/ https://christophe-roche.fr/ roche.university@gmail.com
