Dear colleagues,

We are pleased to invite submissions to the *18th Seminar on Ontology
Research in Brazil
(ONTOBRAS  <https://www.inf.ufrgs.br/ontobras/>2025
<https://www.inf.ufrgs.br/ontobras/>)* and the *9th Doctoral and
Masters Consortium on Ontologies
(WTDO 2025)*, to be held in person at the Aeronautics Institute of Technology
(ITA) and the Faculty of Medical Sciences Humanitas, both located in
São José dos Campos, São Paulo, Brazil
*, *from September 29 to October 2, 2025.

The Seminar on Ontology Research in Brazil
(ONTOBRAS) is a scientific venue for researchers and practitioners in
fields such as Computer Science, Information Science, Philosophy,
Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, and Knowledge Management to
exchange ideas on ontological theories, methodologies, tools, and
applications. ONTOBRAS is supported by the
International Association for Ontology and its Applications (*IAOA)*.

ONTOBRAS 2025 will focus on *the theme:
"The Influence of Ontologies in Generative **AI."*
 This is a highly relevant and timely topic, highlighting the role of
ontologies and knowledge graphs in enhancing the performance and
reliability of generative AI systems. The theme aims to promote
dialogue and collaboration between academia and industry.

technical, or applied contributions.

*Submission Guidelines:*

   - Submissions may be in English (preferred for the main
   track), Portuguese, or Spanish.

   All papers must be submitted in PDF format and follow the CEURART
single-column template:

ONTOBRAS uses a *double-blind peer review **process*
. All accepted papers must be presented in person. The proceedings
will be published in the IAOA Series at CEUR-WS.org.
