Hello, Within a confirmed CIFRE collaboration (i.e. French industrially funded PhD contracts) we are looking for a highly dynamic individual with background in Artificial Intelligence (LLMs, Multi Agent Technologies, Natural Language Processing, Signal Processing) for pursuing an interdisciplinary PhD in AI for Education in the beautiful city of Montpellier in the South of France. The thesis will be exploring the emerging trend of integrating AI into educational technologies to dynamically assist the human educators in evaluating the students while fostering their soft skill development. Application deadline 7/7/2025 Interview date for shortlisted candidates: 15/7/2025 Expected start date 1/11/2025 You will be supervised by an interdisciplinary team of experienced researchers / industry professionals with highly diverse backgrounds: Yann Gabay, CEO and founder of Oreegami Digital School (marketing and management). Ganesh Gowrishankar, Senior Researcher at LIRMM (robotics and neuroscience). Madalina Croitoru, Professor at the University of Montpellier (Artificial Intelligence and cognitive science).
