PhD position at University of Rome Tor Vergata: Ontology Engineering: deadline for application: 31/03!

Dear all,

Three positions are open within the "Data Science" PhD course (https://datasciencephd.uniroma2.it/) at the University of Rome Tor Vergata in the fields of Ontology Engineering, NLP and Machine Learning.

The web page of the call is available here: https://dottorati.uniroma2.it/news.aspx?id_news=49 . Apologies, this page is in Italian, but there is a button for registering and sending applications and all pages related to the application have a double text in Italian and English.

I'm highlighting in particular, given the topic of this mailing list, a position on Ontology Engineering:

"Knowledge Engineering for ESG (Environment, Social and Governance)".

The position, funded by a national programme, is open on a collaboration with OS-Climate (https://os-climate.org/). The successful candidate will tackle research challenges on the acquisition and synthesis of knowledge for information systems by addressing the following use case: "creation of a consolidated data model for ESG (Environment, Social and Governance) using Semantic Web formalisms by gathering and harmonizing heterogeneous models from OS-C partners."

You can find the above description on the official documentation about the open positions: https://dottorati.uniroma2.it/Public/download/26cac3a8-e4e6-4a34-8ef9-aa6bd26f8e14.pdf

If you have any doubt before submitting your application, please contact me at: stellato@uniroma2.it<mailto:stellato@uniroma2.it>,

...and...hurry up! There's a short time window, the position just opened and the deadline is on the 31at of March!

Kind Regards,

Armando Stellato
