Hi. Please see an interesting PhD Studentship on “Harmonised Semantic Model of EU AI and Data Protection Regulations”. Info and application: https://www.adaptcentre.ie/careers/phd-studentship-in-harmonised-semantic-model-of-eu-ai-and-data-protection-regulations/ The aim of this work is to: (a) to analyse these existing regulations in terms of finding and creating a semantic model consisting of different concepts such as actors, processes, and documentation – based on legal compliance requirements; (b) develop a guiding framework to connect technologies and use-cases in terms of legal requirements and obligations; and (c) create tools to apply developed semantic model such as cloud technologies and AI services, perform risk management, and produce necessary reports and legal compliance documentation. The successful candidate will perform inter-disciplinary research under the supervision of Dr Harshvardhan J. Pandit at School of Computing and Dr Edoardo Celeste at School of Law and Government in Dublin City University. They will work within the ADAPT Centre’s Transparent Digital Governance research strand, alongside a large group of Academics, Postdoctoral researchers, and PhD students.
