Dear list, I seem to remember to have heard that literals in subject position were disallowed in RDF because they would have caused trouble in the then ubiquitous RDF/XML serialization. Is there some truth to that? Would they have caused trouble with RDF/XML? And/or where there more important reasons? Best, Thomas
