CFP 3rd International Workshop on Knowledge Graph Construction - ESWC 2022 (DEADLINE EXTENDED 12th March)

Third International Workshop on Knowledge Graph Construction
(#KGCW2022) in conjunction with ESWC2022 [https://2022.eswc-conferences.org/ <https://2022.eswc-conferences.org/>]

Workshop website: https://w3id.org/kg-construct/workshop/2022 <https://w3id.org/kg-construct/workshop/2022>
Workshop date: 30th May 2022
Submission deadline:12th March 2022
***************************************************************

KGCW is a full-day workshop on Knowledge Graph construction co-located with the Extended Semantic Web Conference 2022 (ESWC2022) <https://2022.eswc-conferences.org/>. KGCW has a special focus this time on the automatization of knowledge graph construction methods, analyzing their alignment with previous standards utilizing declarative approaches (i.e., mapping rules). Our goal is to provide a venue for scientific discourse, systematic analysis, and rigorous evaluation of languages, techniques, and tools, as well as practical and applied experiences and lessons learned for constructing knowledge graphs from academia and industry. The workshop complements and aligns with the activities of the W3C CG on KG construction <https://www.w3.org/community/kg-construct/>.

Topics of interest
-------------------------
Automatization of knowledge graph construction from (semi)structured data:
Adjusting semantic data labelling methods into declarative KG construction approaches
(Semi)automatically mappings generation
explainable automated knowledge graph generation
Mapping based Knowledge Graph Construction
Mapping languages for constructing Knowledge Graph from legacy datasets
End-User Interfaces (UI) for (collaborative) editing and visualizing tKnowledge Graphs building rules and management platforms in general
Approaches and techniques on
Collaborative mappings generation
Exploiting mappings for query answering
Tools for Knowledge Graph Construction
Architectures for Knowledge Graph construction systems
(Sustainable) workflows for Knowledge Graph construction & publishing
Methods and Techniques for Knowledge Graph Construction
Seamless (distributed) integration/interlinking from heterogeneous data sources
Dynamic discovery and retrieval of data for KG construction
Quality, Provenance, privacy, and trustworthiness of KG construction
Knowledge Graph construction and publishing of streaming data
Benchmarks for Knowledge Graphs construction and publishing
Lessons learnt, In Use and Experience
Experience, lessons learnt, and best practices for generating and publishing
Negative results and in-use/applied descriptions

Submission guidelines
---------------------------------
Share your contribution before the deadline through the OpenReview platform <https://openreview.net/group?id=kg-construct.github.io/KGCW/2022/Workshop>. The accepted contributions will be published in the proceedings of the workshop. Each accepted paper needs to be presented by one of the authors at the workshop.

Contributions
--------------------
Full (12-15 pages) research papers
Short papers (5-8 pages) related to:
Providing solutions for alignments between mapping languages
Providing innovative and reproducible workflows for KG construction
Automatization of KG construction (e.g., SemTab challenge approaches)
In Use and Experience papers (12-15 pages)
Demo papers (4-6 pages)
Position and Vision papers (4-6 pages)
In particular related to the special theme of the workshop:
automatization of KG construction
Abstracts relevant to the aforementioned topics journal papers (2-4 pages)

Format
----------
Authors can choose the best way to express their work, such as HTML or PDF. However, an LNCS-like layout should be provided or a CEUR layout <https://ceurws.wordpress.com/2020/03/31/ceurws-publishes-ceurart-paper-style/> (which will be mandatory for the camera-ready). If your contribution will be in HTML, you can find some available tools in the ESWC22 HTML guideline. <https://2022.eswc-conferences.org/html-submission-guide/>
