PhD Position - Human Centric AI, WU Vienna

Dear All,

We are looking for a PhD candidate interested in the topic of Human Centric AI, in particular in topics at the intersection of Human Computation, Semantic Web and Machine learning. For example, one possible topic is exploring hybrid human-machine workflows when applied in the context of novel information systems, such as neuro-symbolic systems.

The successful candidate is expected to perform research and teaching activities and to complete a PhD thesis in the research area of Human Centric AI under the supervision of Prof. Marta Sabou. The position is associated with the Institute for Data, Process and Knowledge Management (https://www.wu.ac.at/en/dpkm) situated within the Department of Information Systems and Operations Management of WU Vienna (Vienna University of Economics and Business).

* Starting date: as soon as possible
* Duration: 6 years (the position can be occupied for max 6 years)
