PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowships in Data & Knowledge Engineering and Graph Data Management

Multiple PhD and postdoc positions are available at the Data, Knowledge,
and Web Engineering group [1], Department of Computer Science at Aalborg
University (AAU) in Denmark [2]. The positions are available immediately
with a flexible starting date within the next couple of months.

Depending on qualifications, the positions can be filled at either the
PhD or postdoc level. A PhD position is for 3 years. A postdoc position
is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension for up to 2
years based on mutual agreement.

The topics are concerned with using knowledge graphs and graph
technologies to enable novel perspectives of analysis and make data and
results accessible through the integration of heterogeneous data. Of
particular interest are the scalable support of evolving data,
provenance, exploration, analytics, graph embeddings, and knowledge
sharing.

international profile in Mathematics, and Computer Science &
Engineering. Aalborg is an attractive student city located at a fjord
and close to the sea, and is well-connected (by car, train, but also via
Aalborg Airport). The area features relatively low cost of living, clean
air, beautiful forests and beaches, and very good transportation
