Plow & Field 33: Managing dependencies and versioning to interlink modular ontologies

Dear Semantic Web community,

today I’d like to introduce our company, Field 33 [1
<https://www.field33.com>], a start-up based in Berlin, and especially one
of our tools, Plow (see below). We are building a platform for digital
twins of organizations.

We’re very fond of a knowledge-first approach to data-driven management
and, when we started out in 2020, quickly got stuck when we tried handling
a large and heterogeneous set of ontologies.

As software engineers we build tools to solve problems – and so we did:
we’d like to share Plow with you, a novel approach to managing dependencies
and versioning to interlink modular ontologies [2 <https://plow.pm>]. Plow
is an open source project [3 <https://github.com/field33/plow>]. A paper
recently presented at SEMANTICS 2022 in Vienna [4
<https://dx.doi.org/10.3233/SSW220015>] presents the approach in more
detail.

We’ve had some bilateral meetings with members of the community, which
resulted in enthusiastic feedback. We didn't even consider to envision Plow
to become a kind of GitHub for ontologies and knowledge graphs. This is why
we’ve decided to make the whole Semantic Web community aware of Plow now.

We’re especially looking for feedback and additional ideas on how to extend
