PhD student / postdoc position in Data Sharing
(4 / 3 years, fully funded)

You create new data science and artificial intelligence solutions for disclosing and integrating animal or farm related information by exploring shared, domain overarching datasets. The solutions for sharing and re-use of farm-generated- data allow for safe, efficient, and controlled mechanisms to enable a mutual gain for all stakeholders. You will be creating smart, semantically interoperable, privacy conserving infrastructures and food safety protocols that lead towards a ‘smart and circular agriculture’.

Further, there are open-topic possibilities available for post docs with the Talent's Program of Wageningen Graduate School (2 years long contracts, with possibility of extension).

The applicant is a postgraduate who: 
- Has a PhD degree from a Dutch or non-Dutch university;
- Currently works outside the Netherlands;
- Has a competitive CV suitable for applying for prestigious personal grants;
- Has international experience for at least two years.
- Will comply with the law and legal requirements with respect to the proposed activities, such as ‘Code Openness Animal Experiments’, and/or ‘Code of conduct on Biosecurity’ (if applicable)

The application (including a short research proposal) needs to be submitted by October 1, 2022, the go/no go decisions made in December 2022, and the expected start at the position has to be by June 2023.
