[Our apologies if you receive multiple copies of this CFP] IEEE SmartCity 2021 CFP (December 17-19, 2021, Haikou, China) ---------------------------------------------------------------------- The 19th IEEE International Conference on Smart City (Smart City 2021) http://www.ieee-cybermatics.org/2021/smartcity/ December 17-19, 2021, Haikou, China INTRODUCTION ---------------------------------- Smart cities (also smarter cities) use digital technologies to enhance performance and wellbeing, to reduce costs and resource consumption, and to engage more effectively and actively with its citizens. Developing a smart city to better support growing urban population is a global and complex challenge and involves interdisciplinary fields. Key "smart" sectors include transportation, smart building, energy, health care, and water systems. As a highly successful International Conferences on Smart City, IEEE SmartCity is aiming to be a premier international conference in smart city. The SmartCity-2021 is the 19th edition of a forum to bring together computer scientists, industrial engineers and researchers to discuss and exchange experimental or theoretical results, novel designs, work-in-progress, experience, case studies, and trend-setting ideas in the area of smart city. SPECIAL ISSUES ---------------------------------- IEEE SmartCity 2021 is sponsored by IEEE, IEEE Computer Society, and IEEE Technical Committee on Scalable Computing (TCSC). All accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE Xplore and Engineering Index (EI). Best Paper Awards will be presented to high quality papers. Distinguished papers, after further revisions, will be published in 10+ SCI & EI indexed prestigious journals (confirmed). 1.
