The University of Innsbruck was established in 1669 and is the largest 
education facility in the Austrian state of Tyrol. The university is one 
of the best in Austria, and is steadily present at the top positions 
among the Austrian universities in the Times Higher Education World 
University Ranking.

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Innsbruck 
currently has a number of openings at different levels, and is looking 
for new team members.

- Multiple salaried and fully funded EU and national project-based PhD 
student positions at Semantic Technology Institute (STI) Innsbruck.
The topics for the PhD research are as follows:
1) automated, scalable & traceable data contracting solution, based on 
knowledge graphs - particularly for mobility, insurance, and smart 
cities,
2) techniques combining knowledge graphs with machine learning, 
especially for the application in manufacturing/production,
3) knowledge graphs -based techniques for search engine optimisation 
(and online marketing in a broader sense).
