*Two NLP Early-Stage Researcher positions at Babelscape, in Rome, Italy*

These are *two full-time *EU-funded positions to* work at Babelscape *(
http://babelscape.com), a highly-technological company based in Rome,
Italy, at the intersection between research and industry-focused on
the *construction
and maintenance of multilingual lexicalized knowledge graph*. The candidate
has the option to start a Ph.D. in 2020 in the *Department of Computer
Science *at the* Sapienza University of Rome *under the supervision of prof.
Roberto Navigli <http://wwwusers.di.uniroma1.it/~navigli/>, leading an
*internationally-renowned
group *of 15+ researchers and Ph.D. students in *multilingual Natural
Language Processing*.

*Duties and responsibilities*

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

   - *Position 1*: carrying out research on extracting and
interlinking *multilingual
   lexicographic knowledge graphs.*
   - *Position 2*: carrying out research on *multilingual Word sense
   Disambiguation*, *Entity Linking* and *Semantic Role Labeling*.

* Profile requirements*

   - M.Sc. in computer science, computational linguistics or linguistics.
   - Programming skills in Java or Python.
   - Knowledge of deep learning architectures and frameworks (PyTorch,
   Tensorflow) is a plus for *position 1 *and a must for *position 2*.
   - Excellent communication skills.
   - The candidate may not have resided or carried out his/her main
   activity in Italy for more than 12 months in the last 3 years.

* Remuneration*

Gross salary between 44,000€ and 50,000€ per year.
