-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Semantic Web Challenge at the ISWC 2019 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The DICE group at Paderborn University is proud to announce the launch of this year’s Semantic Web Challenge at the ISWC 2019. This year’s challenge is centered on validation of factual information in a newly generated Knowledge graph. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Semantic Web Challenge at a glance: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The aim of this challenge is to test the performance of fact validation systems in aspects that are relevant for the Semantic Web. These include ROC-AUC and runtime measurements. The challenge will test participating systems against data in a newly generated Knowledge graph and will comprise the following tasks: * Task 1 Fact Validation * Task 2 Fact Validation at Scale For detailed information, including datasets and submission guidelines, please visit the challenge website: https://dice-group.github.io/semantic-web-challenge.github.io/ We herewith invite system developers to participate in the aforementioned tasks. To ensure that the system results are comparable, we will provide the GERBIL and HOBBIT benchmarking platform for the generation of the final results to be included into the system publications. Training data for both the tasks can be accessed at https://hobbitdata.informatik.uni-leipzig.de/SWC_ISWC2019/ -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Important Dates -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 15, 2019 : Release of Dataset, competition begins. June 15, 2019 : Submission of Systems. July 08, 2019 : System Results and Notification of Acceptance. October 30, 2019 : Challenge Presentation. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Organization -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- * Axel-Cyrille Ngonga Ngomo, Institute for Applied Informatics / Paderborn University, Germany * Michael Röder, Institute for Applied Informatics / Paderborn University, Germany * Zafar Syed, Paderborn University, Germany -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Further Information and Contact -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Contact Email: zsyed@mail.uni-paderborn.de >
