More specifically, the goal will be to investigate different approaches to constraints and validation (SHACL, ShEx, ICL, epistemic logic, ...) and - their use in driving user interfaces like data entry forms - their interaction with ontologies (consistency etc.) - their interaction with methods for generating semantic data (R2RML, OTTR templates) - their interaction with query execution - operations on constraints like unions of constrained datasets, differences between constraints, etc. Concrete use cases will come from industrial applications involving large semantic data sets in SIRIUS partner companies. It is desired that the candidate has background and experience that include theory and application of: - Ontology-based system - Logic and reasoning - Databases The full job advertisement is available at https://www.jobbnorge.no/en/available-jobs/job/166286/phd-research-fellowship-in-informatics
