> Thanks to the generous support of the North American Chapter of the Association for Computational Linguistics (NAACL <http://naacl.org/>), SIMBig 2018 is offering two sponsored travel grants for students to attend the conference. The purpose of the grant is to broaden participation, to increase the diversity of attendants and to help students to present their contributions.

> Each grant will cover the travel expenses with an amount up to $ 500. The allocation of the grants will be based on the quality of the paper to be presented at the conference. Student participating at the main conference or in special tracks are eligible. All interested are invited to send us an e-mail containing the name of the student (author), the affiliation, the name of the contribution and the name of the advisor - if it is applicable -.

> Recipients of this travel grant will be allowed to register at the early rate. The travel grants are available in the form of reimbursements that will be delivered at the time of registration at the Universidad del Pacífico.
