*Job Openings:*
We seek to appoint full time short-term (one year) and long-term (3 years)
research associates and research assistant, in our big data team, with some
possibility of extension.

*Job description:*
The researcher will support and work in our Big Data Research Group
<http://wims.vestforsk.no/bigdata/index.html> and will participate in
Horizon2020 and other National projects within the on-going collaboration.
Our research focuses on various big data challenges such as data capture,
data curation, sharing, storage, and data privacy in transport, mobility
and disaster management and also explores the untapped potential of big
data for design and analysis tasks and devise innovative approaches. Keen
interest in top level conference and journal publications.
The posts are available to start as soon as the candidates are available.

*Required skills:*
You will hold a PhD or Masters in computer science or other computational
science and have some previous experience in big data, database
technologies or machine learning.
The position requires spoken and written fluency in English language.
Ability to solve problems creatively.
Capability to work  in a team.
