Invitation to sponsor HOBBIT open challenges

*Holistic Benchmarking of Big Linked Data*

Dear all,

*HOBBIT*organizes a series of open challenges aiming to abolish the 
barriers in the adoption and deployment of Big Linked Data by European 
companies, by means of open benchmarking reports that allow them to 
assess the fitness of existing solutions for their purposes. HOBBIT 
achieves this goal by attracting the best of the best in the domain of 
benchmarking technologies for Big Linked Data. In essence HOBBIT open 
challenges aim to bring together researchers and industrials in order to 
discuss topics related to the performance of Linked Data systems and in 
specific the performance of triple stores in order to reach a consensus 
on de?ning clear targets for measuring the performance and functionality 
of Linked Data systems.

On behalf of the HOBBIT consortium we would like to invite you to become

  * theOpen Mighty Storage Open Challenge (MOCHA),

    aims to benchmark the performance of triple stores within the
    context of holistic benchmarking of Big Linked Data.
  * theScalable Question Answering Open Challenge (SQA),
    <https://project-hobbit.eu/open-challenges/sqa-open-challenge/>which
    aims to push the development of better question answering systems
    for knowledge graphs that can  address the requirements of industry
    w.r.t. quality and runtime.
  * theOpen Knowledge Extraction Open Challenge (OKE)
    <https://project-hobbit.eu/open-challenges/oke-open-challenge/>which
    aims to push the development of better knowledge extraction systems
    for the Semantic Web that can address the requirements of industry
    w.r.t. quality and runtime.
